Kevin Hart

Diploma Dreams was founded by Kevin Hart as a way to not only help students gain acceptance to the best colleges they can, but also to help them choose the right school where they will be happy, conﬁdent, and inspired to succeed.

A long-time member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), Kevin’s many years of working directly with colleges and universities have given him unique insights into identifying what top colleges and universities are seeking in their students. That ability to match the right student to the right school has also resulted in nearly all of his students receiving significant amounts in scholarships and grants.

Kevin’s entry into the ﬁeld of teaching began when he was still in high school. Showing a particular proficiency in math, he was asked to tutor many of his classmates who were struggling in the subject. In those years, he also established the Nanuet High Math League, and after graduating college, went on to work for IBM as an early pioneer in robotics and artificial intelligence programming. His responsibilities also included designing technology systems, networks, security systems, databases, and audiovisual systems for schools, universities, and government.

Later, his passion for teaching and technology led him to open the Hart Learning Center and then the Edit Education Center. He has also co-authored a book on increasing reading proﬁciency called Power Reading. Kevin’s compassion and ability to understand and assess each student’s strengths and interests, while helping them increase their skill levels, creates a unique combination of personal support and expert instruction that brings out the best in each individual student.

Kevin’s goal is to help students nurture their abilities and enhance their skills so they can gain admittance to the college of their choice and start on the path toward achieving their Diploma Dreams.

Shari Suss

Ever since her days in elementary school, Shari Suss had always wanted to be a teacher. It was a goal she would realize by earning her Masters Degree in Early Education, becoming certified in Early and Special Education, working in several schools to teach reading approaches to students with learning and processing issues, and eventually opening her own business, Early Academic Achievement.

Shari’s career experience also includes her time starting out in the family cosmetics business, co-owning a vitamin business with a noted cardiologist, and helping to open a health-oriented restaurant.

By combining her skills in tutoring students on a one-to-one basis with her ability to understand and adjust to their individual educational needs, Shari has developed a unique insight into how important it is for students to feel confident, competent and listened to as they learn what it takes to successfully apply to and choose the right college for their future dreams.
